| This was the last evolution of Elder Kang, the Asian American cop character that appeared throughout my earlier art. He's gotten himself into some sort of operation in which he is being injected with all sorts of chemicals and his heart replaced with a robotic heart, making him almost indestructible, but incapable of emotion. He volunteered for the program out of guilt because he blames himself for allowing his girlfriend to be killed by the boss of an evil corporation. With his new body, he goes on a one man suicide rampage for vengeance. Along the way, he meets a pretty lady who is investigating the corporation, and she helps him reach the boss, whom in the climactic confrontation, he slays. The lady falls for him, but alas, in order to avenge his slain lover, he is no longer capable of love. Oh, the irony. |
