| When I first began the daunting task of finding a job after graduation, I made many attempts at building a portfolio that showcased the employable skills I had that were not evident in the videos I made in film school, such as cel animation. My mother and sister bought me a copy of After Effects so that I could make an animation reel. This was as far as I got—a 14 second clip of Manji (from my favorite comic, Blade of the Immortal) taking some guy's head off. | |
